Poker Aces – discover how to play them
Poker Aces refers to two aces dealt pre-flop. It is the strongest attainable pre-flop hand inhold’em Poker. But regardless many competitors end up on the wrong end when dealt these cards.
When you are dealt a set of Aces, you just do not drop out before theflop. You are sitting with the greatest achievable hand at this part of the round. So how do you gamble with Poker Aces ? Do you basically go all-in? I would say absolutely no to that.
Remember, you are attempting to produce as much money out of this strong position. You will want to maximize the opportunity. Going all-in will merely drive most players into dropping out without laying a bet.
If you’re in the initial position (first or second to bet), you’ll lay a single bet. Anybody with decent cards will call, hopefully a player may raise. If there has been a raise do not jump to re-raise or call, wait for a small bit – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.
After the flop your tactic will be to get rid of anybody that might get a straight or a flush. So I would start to raise boldly, if you’re fortunate you’ll fool one player into believing that you’re tricking.
If you are in the middle or later spot (one of the last to cast a bet) you will observe as everyone calls and then raise. Even with you sitting with a pair of aces, if possible try to avert a show-down. Guard your hand by forcing others to drop out following the flop. If you don’t drive out your opponents you chance losing your hand.
